Beauty Team

Chamak's beauty team is compromised of professionally trained certified artists who either have attended Chamak Makeup Academy or other professional training, have had a portfolio review and passed a skills training interview prior to joining our makeup and hair staff. We only hire artists who have a wonderful personality, are great communicators and are exceptional artists.

Sarah Ali, M.S. , L.P.C,

Senior Artist & Owner of Chamak is Sarah Ali, M.S., LPC.

Sarah trained at the prestigious Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood & Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts under Oscar award winning artists & learned airbrush makeup through Dinair. Dina Ousley, creator of Dinair actually toured the makeup studio as she was interested in Chamak as well. She has been working in the beauty industry since 1998. Sarah has a masters in counseling psychology and is licensed as a psychotherapist and a life coach. This background and training enables her to provide a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment for students. As an instructor she teaches not just makeup artistry, how to make handcrafted natural cosmetics and create a unique brand for yourself, but coaches and guides students on how to establish their career. Many students visit after class is over for further mentoring and to do an internship with the studio.

Sarah has worked in every makeup industry setting including films, T.V. commercials, editorial and fashion shows. Sarah began learning makeup as an artist with Chanel, M.A.C. & Yves Saint Laurent. For the brief run of CK Beauty in Texas, she was selected as the regional artist for SW Texas. She enjoys, most of all, teaching and educating clients and students on makeup techniques and feeling beautiful inside & out. She opened The Transformation Studio: a world inspired beauty & wellness center in 2009. ,www.thetransformationstudio.com.
A year later, she launched her own beauty line, Chamak Makeup, which features handcrafted skincare, makeup, haircare which is made fresh in the shop: www.chamakcosmetics.com. Based on demand, in 2015 Sarah opened Chamak as a spin off which now houses her beauty line, gourmet line and makeup courses.

One of our talented 2011 graduates of our makeup academy. After attending our course she also attended a DYF (Dress Your Face) training and began working at Sephora Sugar Land. Clients find her softly blended glowy looks enchanting.
